Our History
Dunshaw Hearing Aid Center was founded in New York City in 1936 by Mr. Alfred Dunleavy, an inventor, pioneer and icon in the field of better hearing. Mr. Dunleavy established the first university level course in impression taking and hearing aid dispensing at the City University of New York. He also patented several advances in cros and bi-cros hearing technology. We are proud to continue in his footsteps, combining state-ofthe- art technology, dedication, and genuine concern for our patients.
